Do you have experience in building maintenance and renovations? To ensure our Resident Members' peace of mind, we are looking for a talented candidate to address all maintenance requests and emergencies. If you are passionate about fixing things, good with your hands, and mechanically adept, this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Address Requests for Maintenance within 72 hours
  • Perform on-call emergency maintenance according to schedule provided by site Leader
  • Vacant suite maintenance and touch ups per established quality standards
  • General common area and building maintenance
  • Cleaning and maintenance of equipment
  • Preventative Maintenance inspections and reporting
  • Ensure contractors arrive per scheduled timelines and complete their work per the conditions of contract
  • Assist with touch-up painting and snow removal
  • Ensure proper and accurate inventory management
  • Complete all required administration for the position on a mobile phone
  • Complete other tasks as assigned

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • 2 years Maintenance service experience required
  • Renovation experience is an asset

Technical Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with computer / tablets is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements:

  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work independently (self managed) and with other Associates in a team environment
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
  • Ensure have all tool on the tool list prior to end of probationary period (tool list provided during interview)
  • Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
  • Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
