What can you expect?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Food & Beverage Accounting Coordinator to join our team. This role involves overseeing the financial operations within the food and beverage department, ensuring accurate record-keeping, reconciling accounts, and supporting the overall financial management of the department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This job might be right for you if you think you would really enjoy:

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for food and beverage operations.
• Reconciling daily sales reports, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports and forecasts for the food and beverage department.
• Monitoring inventory levels and track inventory costs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensuring adherence to internal controls and company policies regarding financial transactions.
• Communicating with various departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations.
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
• Assisting in any ad-hoc financial projects or tasks as required by the management team.

And you have:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in food and beverage accounting or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage industry operations is a plus.

• Knowledge of Food & Beverage Point of Sale Systems, such as Squirrel (preferred)

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position.
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on business needs.
• Office environment, with some flexibility for remote work.
