The Programming & Events Supervisor is the ultimate host who spends most of their work week providing exceptional guest experiences, executing The Banff Gondola's Programming and Animation activities. This role is inherently hands-on and physically demanding, requiring an energetic individual who thrives in a dynamic, guest-focused environment.
Banff Gondola Programming includes Nightrise, Mountaintop Christmas, Bloom and Brunch, Locals' Days, Banff Pride, and more. Duties will include set-up, tear-down, coordinating performers and contractors, and execution of activity stations as appropriate.
When not busy executing programming plans, the P&E Supervisor will be on the floor with guests, delivering the Banff Gondola Animation program. These fun activities can include marshmallow roasting, arts and crafts, games and more.
The P&E Supervisor will also support The Gondola's ongoing décor programming, ensuring our spaces are in world-class condition and are welcoming.
At times, the P&E Supervisor will be tasked with supporting weddings and corporate events, as well as Banff Gondola employee engagement programs and Promise to Place initiatives.
As needed, the P&E Supervisor will support the Programming team's administrative and planning work. They may also be called upon to perform supervisory duties in the Upper Terminal, supporting the Guest Experience team when needed.
The P&E Supervisor will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
