As a Starbucks Barista at Banff Gondola, your daily pursuit is simple: to craft high-quality beverages and create a memorable experience to every customer. We offer competitive pay to our Baristas, including a $16.50 hourly wage. In addition to your base pay, you'll also have the opportunity to earn tips, which can significantly boost your take-home pay.

As a Starbucks Barista, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional customer service: Greet customers with a smile, take their orders with care, and ensure they have an enjoyable experience from start to finish.
• Crafting high-quality beverages: Prepare espresso drinks, drip coffee, teas, and other specialty drinks to perfection. You'll be responsible for creating consistent and delicious drinks within each order.
• Managing cash and transactions: Accurately process orders and payments, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace: Ensure all café areas are clean, tidy, and stocked, so customers always receive service in a welcoming environment.
• Supporting the team: Work closely with fellow baristas to keep the café running smoothly. This includes assisting with restocking, cleaning, and other general café duties as needed.
• Engaging with customers: Build rapport with frequent customers, suggest new beverages, and share your love of coffee with others.

• Basic barista experience: While prior experience is a plus, it's not required. We're happy to train motivated individuals who are passionate about coffee and eager to learn.
• Customer service skills: A friendly and approachable demeanor, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide a high level of service.
• Attention to detail: Precision in brewing, making drinks, and ensuring customer orders are accurate.
• Multitasking ability: The café can get busy, so the ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle multiple tasks at once is essential.
• Teamwork: You'll be working closely with other baristas and staff members, so being a team player and helping out where needed is important.
• Positive attitude and passion for coffee: A love for coffee and a commitment to making customers' days better with every cup.
