What is the opportunity?

This role includes both communications and marketing duties including writing, designing, developing, producing and consulting on a variety of internal and external communications, marketing and media materials, as well as event planning and activations.

What will you do?

  • Act as editor of local Intranet and of bi-weekly digital newsletter
  • Write and design content for intranet, announcements, speaking notes, invites, videos, infographics, newsletters etc.
  • Lead a variety of marketing and communications activities
  • Lead and support planning and execution for key internal and external events and sponsorship activities
  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders to brainstorm and execute content ideas, in line with the communications and marketing strategies
  • Coach internal stakeholders on communications and marketing best practices and activities
  • Support in backup capacity on media relations and issues management

What do you need to succeed?

  • A degree in Communications, Marketing or Event Planning is required (or equivalent).
  • 3-4 years Communications, Marketing and Event Planning experience is required.
  • Well-developed creative writing skills and proven proofing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while embracing a self-starting 'can-do' approach.
  • Ability to do some occasional evening or weekend work.
