Job Overview:


Reporting to the F&B leadership team, the F&B Supervisor will oversee daily or nightly shifts (s), provide leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service satisfaction and retention, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.

Responsibilities and Duties:

•    Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Cash and Ace and Casinos. 
•    Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs and followed and completed on a timely basis.
•    Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
•    Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests.
•    Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with casino policies and procedures.
•    Ensure controls in place for electronic/cash transactions as well as product and inventory controls. 
•    Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality & service.
•    Perform some food preparation or service tasks, such as cooking, clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary.
•    Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel.
•    Administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
•    Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety.
•    Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
•    Complete administrative duties as outlined by the F&B Manager. 
•    Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guest needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
•    Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
•    Monitor employee and guest activities to ensure AGLC liquor regulations are followed.

•    Enforce and control outlined uniform standards. 
•    Develop, plan, and implement F&B outlet marketing, advertising and promotional activities and campaigns.
•    Other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

•    1-2 years’ experience as supervisor/manager in the hospitality environment.
•    Experience in back of the house and front of the house.
•    Basic food safety required.
•    Proserve and Reel Facts Certification from AGLC.
•    Casino, hotel, or resort experience preferred, but not required.
 Skills and Abilities:

•    Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
•    Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
•    Ability to communicate effectively. 
•    Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.

Job Requirements:
•    Ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including graveyards, weekends, and holidays. The hours of work will be based on operational needs.
•    Knowledge of AGLC Terms & Conditions and Operating Guidelines.
•    Knowledge and ability to clearly explain operating house rules to guests and employees.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:
•    Walk/stand – Must be able to walk/stand throughout much of the shift throughout all outlets of the Casino.
•    Talk/hear – must be able to detect, determine, identify, observe, inspect, and assess.  This positions frequently communicates with guests and employees throughout the entirety of the shift. Must be able to exchange accurate information and professionalism in these situations.  
•    Occasional kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
•    Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.  
•    Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
•    Works in an indoor, fast-paced environment.
•    Advanced attention to detail.
•    Ability to work under pressure.
