THE POSITION

We offer and execute the best Premium Experiences in the sport and entertainment industry. We look to enhance the reputation of our team brands, develop and engage new fans, and re-energize current fans, and grow revenue. Creating new and innovative ideas to tailor the experience for our clients and provide an exceptional fan experience is the hallmark of the Premium Sales team. We are seeking an intrinsically motivated and ambitious outside sales professional to join us.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Sales Executive Suites, you will be responsible for premium sales, engaging with a variety of corporate partners and high net worth individuals.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Primary focus will be on prospecting and finding new business for the Calgary Flames, Calgary Stampeders teams and concerts.
  • Sell rental suites, premium corporate experiences and season tickets.
  • Host guests and clients during events.
  • Create and develop sales plans and goals alongside the Senior Director, Sales, and Suites.
  • Find new and innovative ways to increase sales.
  • Conduct sales presentations that highlight key benefits, ROI, and value of the products to the clients.
  • Support the sales team as necessary.
  • Assist with ticket administration and packaging.
  • Manage guest and client relationships throughout the season.
  • Support in-game sales promotions.
  • Execute a proven sale process.
  • Utilize and maintain accurate records within CRM.
  • Work trade shows and events to promote CSEC premium experiences.
  • Actively participate in safety programs and follow policies.
  • Adherence to CSEC Four Pillars.
  • Active participation in the Safety Program and follow all safety rules.
  • All other duties as assigned.

THE INDIVIDUAL

The ideal individual will have the following background:

Required Skills

  • One to three years' experience in a fast-paced B2B sales environment;
  • Must be customer-focused and driven with the ability to build and maintain client relationships;
  • Self-discipline, with strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment;
  • Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team;
  • Strong presentation skills;
  • Strong sales process, from first engagement to close of sale;
  • Ability to learn quickly and receptive to new ideas and processes;
  • Facility with computerized systems, including commitment to maintaining computerized records of all touchpoints with clients and prospects with our CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics);
  • Proficiency with computer software programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel;
  • Flexible to meet changing work needs and demands.
