Do you have experience in building maintenance and renovations? To ensure our Resident Members' peace of mind, we are looking for a talented candidate to address all maintenance requests and emergencies. If you are passionate about fixing things, good with your hands, and mechanically adept, this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Address Customer Requests for Maintenance within 72 hours
  • Perform on call emergency maintenance according to schedule provided by Leader
  • General common area and building maintenance
  • Preventative Maintenance inspections and reporting
  • Assist with snow removal as required
  • Touch-up painting in common areas
  • Complete all required administration for the position on a tablet
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by the Leader

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • 2-3 years renovation experience required
  • Mold Remediation and Asbestos Abatement certifications preferred

Technical Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with computer tablets a must
  • Drywall - Repair and installation
  • Tiles - Tub surround and backsplash installation/repair
  • Painting and finishes
  • Countertops - Repair/replace
  • Floors - Repair and/or replace, baseboard installation/repair
  • Doors/Windows/Cabinets - Repair/replace
  • Basic Plumbing and Electrical
  • Basic Boiler/Heating
  • Furnace Maintenance
  • Locks - Repair/replace
  • Appliance repair/installation

Non-Technical Requirements:

  • Must have own vehicle, valid driver's license, and clean driving record
  • Ensure to have all tools on the tool list (will be provided during interview)
  • Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
  • Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
