The Security Event Account Coordinator plays a crucial role in guaranteeing that the client receives the services outlined in the contract. This position entails managing access controls, supervising security measures for the event, and collaborating with key stakeholders to provide a safe and smooth experience. The Coordinator will also build and maintain strong, productive relationships with all security personnel. This is a temporary contract role from June 8 to June 18, 2025 and training the week prior.   • $25/hr
  • Paid on-the-job training
  • Full time 40 hours per week for the event. The individual selected for this position must be available to work all days of the temporary coverage
  • This position includes 8-hour shifts and travel time to Kananaskis. We will take care of transportation from Calgary, and you will be paid for your travel time both to and from the event.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Working as a liason between the client and GardaWorld Management
  • Regular communication with on-site security personnel
  • Monitor staff performance
  • Identifying and resolving issues related to event security
  • Will be responsible for overseeing the site schedule - including but not limited to ensuring all site shifts are filed
  • Attend Security and Safety meetings on site
  • Answers directly to a Senior Account Manager

You are the ideal candidate for this position because you possess:

  • Minimum 1+ years in a physical security environment. Event Security is an asset.
  • Minimum 1-2 years in a team lead or security supervisor role
  • Effective time Management skills
  • Professional and self motivated.
  • Superior customer service / interpersonal skills
  • Superior communication skills (verbal / written)
  • Able to work in a team environment or independently as required.
  • Excellent MSOffice skills.
  • Ability to prioritize job functions under stressful circumstances.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
