About the Role:

The Edmonton Oilers launched LOILTY Rewards in September 2023. This free program allows Oilers fans to earn and redeem points simply through their actions as supporters of the hockey club. The Loyalty Gameday Lead will be responsible for managing the LOILTY Rewards stand during all Oilers home games in the 2024/2025 season at Rogers Place. The booth is designed to attract new members to the program, engage fans in the arena using gamification tools, and answer questions, similar to a customer service desk.

Your Focus in this Role:

  • Be a LOILTY Rewards ambassador, representing the program at the designated activation stand during all Oilers home games
  • Set up the activation stand with display items and promotional assets before the event doors open (60 minutes prior to puck drop)
  • Attract new fans to join the program using promotional materials
  • Run interactive games (quizzes, trivia, theme-night games) for fans utilizing a display screen
  • Manage giveaways, prizes, and additional rewards for program members on-site
  • Assist customers with their questions about the program and any potential issues, collect unresolved requests, and report them to the manager after each event

  • You are available to work according to the Oilers' home schedule at Rogers Place—41 regular season home games of 4-5 hours each night

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail.
  • Proven experience as a member of a promotional or event team is an asset.
