Job Summary

As the Manager of Festivals & Outdoor Events, you will be responsible for the coordination, planning, organization, operation and control of outdoor corporate or social events while working in close collaboration with your Director and our Partner.

Now, if you were to come on board as a Manager of Festivals, Outdoor Events we'd ask you to do the following for us:

  • Plan, organize, present and coordinate outdoor events in collaboration with our team and Partner
  • Conduct site walk throughs with pertinent team members, third party contracts and our Partner
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, contractors and Levy team members
  • Adequately forecast and schedule associates to meet desired operational needs and objectives
  • Recruit and onboard associates
  • Conduct inspections to ensure that service delivery meets specifications, customer expectations, and quality assurance standards
  • Achieve labour targets and budget targets
  • Adhere to AGLC requirements
  • Ensure a successful guest experience and operation for each event

  • Experience in successfully running operations with outdoor festivals, preferably in a food and beverage capacity
  • Demonstrate an ability to manage priorities and manage stress well
  • Ability to work independently while possessing strong teamwork skills
  • Have a developed business sense and a refined customer approach
  • Be meticulous, organized, rigorous and pay excellent attention to detail
  • Be proficient in Office suite software (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Extensive experience in professional relations
  • Financial management skills, including weekly reduction of inducible costs and labor costs
  • Outstanding ability to communicate and build good customer relationships
