Job Summary

We're hiring a Marketing & Communications Coordinator. This role requires a multifaceted professional who is proficient in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, possesses excellent organizational skills, and is passionate about brand awareness and strategy, particularly in the Food & Beverage industry.

How you will make an impact:

  • This role is responsible for the execution of marketing and branding requests working in conjunction with our management team and our Partner's ICE District Hospitality Marketing Managers.
  • The Marketing & Communications Coordinator serves as the primary liaison for the coordination and communication of all branding and marketing initiatives between our leadership team and our partners.
  • Manage the Sector SharePoint and ensure it is updated bi-weekly, accurately and includes all supporting materials and templates needed
  • Develop key event calendars related to all core areas of the business - including provincial & national sports, holidays, and food culture days
  • Support in the development of marketing promotions and campaigns
  • Organize and schedule marketing-related activities
  • Maintain the ICE District Hospitality branding strategy and contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of brand strategies to enhance brand awareness

About you:

  • 1-3 years of marketing experience with direct experience in the food and beverage or hospitality sector
  • Bachelor of Arts Degree or a College Diploma in Marketing or Communications
  • Graphic design knowledge with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
  • Proven ability to work independently while effectively meeting deadline
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in PowerPoint
  • Go-getter attitude with a passion for events, sports & entertainment and/or culinary
