Bartender, Pursuit Jasper

Our Pursuit Jasper team is diverse collection comprised of 7 superb hotels (Pyramid Lake Lodge, The Crimson, Marmot Lodge, Chateau Jasper, Lobstick Lodge, Forest Park Hotel, Miette Mountain Cabins) and 4 fantasitc restaurants (Aalto, Terra, Hearthstone Lounge, Silverwater). The starting salary for this position is $16.50 per hour.

• Providing courteous service to all guests
• Able to answer questions about the surroundings, menu and the Jasper area
• Basic wine knowledge and to be able to guide customers accordingly - based on food pairing and sweetness levels
• Keep all areas clean and orderly
• Ensuring stockrooms and storage are neat and organized at all times
• Manage proper cash and float security during operating hours
• Administer your own cash floats on a daily basis

• Thrives in a fast paced, high energy work environment
• 1-2 years of bartending experience (preferably in a fine dinning atmosphere)
• Appropriately groomed and willing to adhere to grooming policy
• Customer service oriented
• A positive attitude and pro-active
• Able to lift at least 15 pounds and to stand for long periods of time
• Must obtain Pro-serve qualifications
• Flexible with work schedule (morning & evening shifts)
