What will your compensation be?

The starting wage for this role is $41.07/hr.

What will you do in this job?

  • Assist in the repair, modification and maintenance of all electrical equipment including PLC
  • Ensure proper and timely completion of all pertinent paperwork
  • Assist with the internal communications network
  • Develop understanding of and perform maintenance of related lift equipment
  • Possess a strong understanding of company policies and adhere to safe work practices
  • Facilitate lift inspections to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Observe and correct electrical or safety concerns during operations
  • Have a thorough understanding of WHMIS and other WCB policies related to personal safety
  • Maintain a safe work environment for guests and staff
  • Support lift operator training
  • Assist with repairs & maintenance of buildings and infrastructure as needed
  • Seasonal grounds work (snow removal, summer landscaping etc.)
  • Collaborate with other departments
  • Safe handling and transporting of propane
  • Light furnaces and heaters in buildings
  • Maintain on site water treatment systems and wastewater
  • Other duties as assigned

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • Qualified Journeyperson Electrician status
  • Comfortable working at high elevations
  • Ability to work as part of an integrated team
  • Self-motivated
  • Must possess a valid Alberta driver's license and provide a satisfactory driver abstract
  • Accepted into an approved electrical apprenticeship program
  • Ability to work in a winter environment, at times outside in severe weather conditions
  • Safety-first mindset, with the ability to work safely around operating equipment.
  • Experience with PLC is an asset.
