Player's Assistant (Seasonal, June - October, 2025)

Starting Rate of Pay: $17.35/hr CAD

Our Player's Assistant will be able to insure that guests at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge's Golf Course achieve service that goes above and beyond. In this role you will support the hotel by:

• Monitor the pace of play on the golf course
• Help players locate wayward golf balls
• Repair all ropes and stakes used for cart direction
• Ensure carts are kept in the proper area during play
• Ensure the Starter's Clocks are properly set on each of the water coolers
• Move elk into areas where they will not have direct encounters with golfers
• Report any course problems such as course damage, leaky sprinklers, missing tee markers or any other general maintenance that might be required

Your Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 years experience in a managerial or supervisory position within a major golf operation required
• Member, in good standing, of CPGA Class A required
• Experience as a golf instructor required
• Degree/Diploma in a related field an asset
• Previous point of sale system experience
• Strong knowledge of the game of golf and it's principles surround etiquette required
