Your daily pursuit is leading the retail team in offering unique, locally inspired products while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

What will your compensation be?

The starting salary for this position is $20.00 per hour

This is a full-time regular position beginning February 11, 2025.

What will you do in this job?

  • Train, support and coach retail team members in the proactive sales of retail merchandise.
  • Ensure stores are adequately stocked for the day and merchandise displays are maintained and organized throughout the operating day.
  • Responsible for daily cash handling practices and safeguards, including proper use of POS stations, cash floats, change orders and cash outs.
  • Ensure a memorable and positive experience for our guests and staff through implementing and delivering the standard operating policies and procedures as they relate to our hospitality, retail operations, safety and employee engagement standards and practices.
  • Providing leadership and accountability to team members to ensure they meet all expectations of their role.
  • Assist with scheduling and managing daily staffing resources to expected business volumes
  • Directly support retail agents in any service recovery issues that may arise reporting larger issues to management.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • Previous leadership and cash handling experience required.
  • Experience working in retail and use of point-of-sale systems.
  • A passion for coaching and developing team members with a proven track record of "safety 1st" practices.
  • A strong hospitality-focused approach with a natural ability to proactively listen to and understand guest needs.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Competent administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment at a high altitude. Be prepared for all season weather (snow, rain, wind, hail) as retail operations are at both upper and lower stations on Whistlers Mountain.
  • Secondary language skills an asset.
