Term of Employment:Full-time, Term (Approximately 3 months)
Rate of Pay:Band 2: $24.36 - 26.59 per hour (Subject to CUPE 1015 Agreement)

Duties:






The Admin Support 2 is responsible for providing assistance and administrative support to the Manager, Supervisors and Visitor Service Attendants at the Bioclean Aquatic Centre as well as providing exceptional service to customers of the City of Lloydminster.

Duties
  • Be the first point of contact for the public that attends the Bioclean Aquatic Centre.
  • Respond to customers' needs in a timely, professional and helpful manner.
  • Provide cashier services including receiving payments from customers in attendance, over the telephone, through the mail or otherwise. Reconcile and balance the till and prepare bank deposits daily.
  • Admin support functions such as: answering phones, directing public, coordinating inter-office and external mail, general maintenance of office equipment, and forwarding documents.
  • Provide scanning, filing and data entry assistance to staff members when requested.
  • Completing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Assist in organizing events for the facility, including team-building events.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor in stressful or emergent situations.
  • Assist with the Bioclean Aquatic Centre social media accounts.
Records Management
  • Support the retention and disposal of recreation and cultural services-related municipal records.
Other
  • Other related duties as required.
Schedule:
The position is office based; normal working hours are between 8:00 a.m. —5:00 p.m. with the occasional requirement to work outside these standard hours.
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary certificate in Business Administration or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • One to two years' previous experience in a similar administrative position.
  • Previous working experience in an aquatic recreation facility will be considered an asset.
  • Previous cash handling experience.
  • Must be able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of working in computerized office environment, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to converse both verbally and written.
  • The ability to work responsibly alone under minimal supervision and work well within a team of employees.
  • Possess a high standard of confidentiality.
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's License registered in Alberta or Saskatchewan with an acceptable Driver's Abstract is required. This position may be required to operate a personal or municipal vehicle for business purposes.
