The starting salary for this position is $21.00 per hour.

What will you do in this job?

  • Help prepare the hotel, staff accommodations, and a variety of other buildings for opening /closing
  • Responsible for a variety of general maintenance and repair & other improvements to buildings, equipment, grounds, and facilities
  • Trash removal and hauling for disposal
  • Performs routine quality checks to prevent foreseeable maintenance issues
  • Maintains and authentically restores guest rooms, common areas and other buildings on property
  • Completes and assists Maintenance Manager with ongoing projects
  • Tracks and manages work orders and requests via internal software
  • Communicates effectively with all departments to ensure their maintenance needs are met
  • Keep record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to manager
  • Offer assistance to guests and teammates where needed
  • Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties
  • Perform other duties as directed by Management

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • Experience in facilities maintenance required
  • Experience in painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and equipment repair preferred
  • Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key.
  • Willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
