What will you do in this job?

  • Manage all aspects of retail operation including scheduling, ordering, inventory, merchandising, performance management, training etc
  • Oversee and promote operation in the Princess Cafe
  • Implement sales goals and other incentive-based programs for sales team
  • Receive and direct shipments and orders
  • Ensure accurate invoicing inventory and stocking
  • Maintain all store security policies
  • Assist team with cashiering, stocking and other operational duties when necessary
  • Keep record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to Maintenance/GM Team
  • Communicate effectively with all managers and departments to ensure coordination with Retail services, guest needs, quality control, etc.
  • Diligently handles/tracks cash, credit, and debit transactions making closing deposits
  • Maintain store and arrange displays in an aesthetic and pleasing way to encourage sales
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment for staff and guests
  • Ensures departmental expenditure and labor is kept within budget through best business practices
  • Ensure compliance with internal SOPS and company standards
  • Assists in planning, leading and chaperoning of staff events.
  • Trains and coaches the team to provide excellent, memorable guest service and complete retail procedures.
  • Implement sales goals and other incentive-based programs for retail team
  • Wears the proper uniform and ensures team appearance and presentation standards are upheld
  • Fosters a fun, positive and motivating team culture focused on excellent guest service.
  • Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed
  • Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties
  • Perform other duties as requested by management

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • 1-2 years retail management experience required
  • Knowledge of merchandise costs, labor costs, and controls
  • Previous display, merchandising, and cash register operating experience
  • Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
  • Willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
  • Committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
  • Organized with a great eye for detail

  • A good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions
