Job Summary | The College of New Caledonia is looking for an instructor to teach the Short Order Cook Program at the Burns Lake CNC Campus. |
Skills & Qualifications | • Minimum of five years experience as a Red Seal Chef is preferred, or extensive professional experience as a Camp Cook • Able to deal effectively with students on an individual or group basis • Preference will be given to those applicants who have proven teaching and/or supervisory experience • Experience working with Indigenous Communities will be considered an asset Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question. You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities. |
