Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Gordon Ramsay Burger, this position is responsible for serving the guests in our iconic Gordon Ramsay Burger restaurant. The successful candidate will ensure all Gordon Ramsay service standards are met. Ensures adherence to all polices and procedures while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Accountabilities

  • Greets guests by name wherever possible
  • Escorts guests to a table when applicable; presents menus; informs guests of daily specials
  • Explains how various menu items or beverages are prepared
  • Takes the guest orders; makes recommendations
  • Serves the guests; checks to ensure satisfaction
  • Resolves guests issues or asks management for assistance
  • Presents bill upon request; takes payments
  • Cleans tables and removes dishes; re-stocks where applicable
  • Delivers food to tables as directed
  • Performs opening or closing duties as required
  • Counts cash out at end of shift and reconciles all receipts
  • Covers other servers sections when required
  • Exercises good judgment when serving alcoholic beverages per serving it right policies
  • Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership and team members
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualifications

  • Must be available to work evening and weekend shifts
  • Minimum 1 year serving experience
  • Effective and service oriented communication
  • POS experience
  • Serving it Right certification
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely,

Work Environment Considerations

  • Regular casino and restaurant or bar environment, standing and walking f or long periods of time and non-traditional work hours
