Cirque Host/hostess (Full-time OR Part-time) Evenings and Weekends

We are looking to fill the position of Host/Hostess at Cirque Restaurant, Fernie Alpine Resort, reporting to the manager on duty the ideal candidate will be an energetic individual with a willingness to learn new skills, have a positive attitude and be teamwork-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You Will:

• Ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
• Assist and upsell guests at every opportunity
• Provide exceptional service to all guests entering and exiting the restaurant
• Greet guests, escort to tables and provide menus
• Answer phone and book table reservations
• Be responsible for maintaining the host/hostess station supplies
• Practice approved food handling procedures and ongoing cleanliness
• Assist expediter/runner during peak periods
• Assist Ice Bar during peak periods
• Abide by all RCR policies and Safety Management Program
• Adhere to the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies guidelines and policies
• Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
• Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
• Other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager

You Have:

• An enthusiastic and courteous demeanor (required)
• Previous fine dining experience (an asset)
• Wine pairing and service knowledge (an asset)
• Serving it Right certification (required)

Full-time or part-time positions are available to cover evenings and weekends day-time shifts, requiring flexibility to meet variable guest volumes.
