Fernie Alpine Resort is looking to fill the position of Interpretive Centre Hiking Guide. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, related education and/or experience, a positive attitude, be physically capable and enjoy working in an outdoor mountain environment. You Will:
- Ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
- Offer a high degree of guest service at all times
- Have a high degree of local flora and fauna knowledge and be able to communicate and share this passion with guests of all ages and abilities
- Lead/guide nature hikes
- Provide suggestions, photographs, assist in building/improving the program incrementally each summer season
- Perform other tasks and duties as requested by management
- Adhere to the rules and regulations outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook, RCR Policy and Safety Management Program
