We are looking to fill the position of Repair Technician at Fernie Alpine Resort. Reporting to the Rental & Repair Supervisor, the ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, positive attitude, team player, and have previous experience working as a ski and snowboard repair technician. You Will:

• Ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
• Assist and upsell guests at every opportunity
• Perform all aspects of ski/snowboard repair service including daily operations maintaining a safe and clean environment
• Provide quality repair service to ensure company goals are met and guest expectations are exceeded
• Be responsible for expertly providing our guests with tunes, repairs, binding mounts, while using the machinery and tools in a safe manner
• Maintain equipment fleet including, maintenance, repairs and recording data
• Assist in generating sales, and accurately charging for services provided
• Maintain and contribute to the corporate values of RCR and Safety Management Program.

You Have:

• 2 years experience in a ski resort repair shop (required)
• Knowledge and skill in POS systems and daily cash reconciliation
• Experience working in a guest service-focused environment
• Binding certifications (an asset)
