Resort Line & Prep Cook (winter)

We are looking to fill the position of Line and Prep Cook at Fernie Alpine Resort. Our guests come back because of the amazing food you are able to produce at a professional and passionate level. Your execution of our delicious meals will contribute to the amazing dining experience to our guests. The ideal candidate will be an energetic individual with a willingness to learn new skills, have a positive attitude, be teamwork-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You Will:

• Prepare food items according to resort F&B specifications
• Follow kitchen's systems & principles
• Promote a safe, sanitized work environment, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, safety and food storage management
• Ensure the highest level of service and guest experience
• Provide non-stop team work with your teammates and managers
• Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
• Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
• Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
• Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable

You Have:

• Previous cook and food preparation experience required
• Cook training certification or equivalent an asset
• Food safe certification an asset, may be obtained upon hire
• A willingness to learn new skills and have a positive attitude
