Eagle's Eye Expediter

You will:

• Ensure food is delivered to guests in a timely and courteous manner
• Promptly clear, clean and reset tables as necessary
• Maintain effective communications within restaurant to provide high levels of guest service
• Ensure exceptional food presentation
• Assist in arranging the physical environment for any special functions
• Clean and stock the dining area to provide a pleasant environment for our guests
• Contribute to general housekeeping of the restaurant and guest suites
• Represent Kicking Horse Mountain Resort professionally and courteously to guests and staff who dine at Eagle's Eye Restaurant
• Perform related duties as requested by supervisors and manager

You:

• Have a passion for food service industry and desire to learn and advance.
• Have Serving It Right, ProServe, or other courses in the responsible service of alcohol.
• Have previous food service experience - an asset.
• Are able to consistently provide a polished and professional appearance to guests.
• Preferably have a comprehensive knowledge of fine food, wine and service.
• Have knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems - asset, not required.
• Have a valid First Aid Ticket (OFA3) - beneficial, not required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Are able to stand for extended periods of time and lift light objects.
• Can withstand brief exposure to extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, cold, heat) in a mountain environment.
