Serve as the escalation point for issues relating to the affiliates program and handle concerns and challenges by reacting quickly and professionally
Conduct market research to identify new market opportunities
Liaise closely with the Affiliate Sales Manager to ensure strategy and targets are aligned across Banff Jasper Collection
Complete administrative duties such as answering phone calls, making calls, cold calling potential clients, managing calendars, scheduling site visits, preparation of cheques etc.
Prepare reports, data in-put and maintain proper records in accordance with BJC Sales administration process
Assist with the coordination, execution and follow up of onsite FAM tours, affiliate "Open House" days and travel trade visits
Assist with the coordination and execution of Group Event Management (GEM) programs and special events including set up, flow of event and tear down
Takes initiative and be persistent in overcoming obstacles, all while exercising excellent judgement
Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and other GSB departments
Execute all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with H&S and our Always Honest Policy
Actively participate in committees (Green Team, Promise to Place, Health & Safety Committee, Fun Committee)
Other duties as required, including supporting and assisting in other departments and functions when required

What skills and experience do you need for this job?
Must be 19 years or older
Must hold minimum Class 5 License (with interest in upgrading to an BC Class 4 License)
Minimum of one-year sales and/or events experience
Post-secondary education in Tourism, Business or Recreation, or equivalent work experience an asset
Experience facilitating groups of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer focus providing friendly, professional and efficient service
Strong communication and listening skills with local and international guests and staff, second language skills highly advantageous
Self-starter with an energetic, upbeat, and outgoing personality
Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills
Demonstrate high levels of positive energy and a willingness to take on new challenges
Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel required)
Meet and set a strong example for Pursuit grooming standards
