Job Description:

As part of the Big White Bellperson team, you are responsible for assisting guests with baggage and groceries, assisting with Airport transport, performing light maintenance jobs and assisting with guest requests.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Participate in and pass our Driver Training Course
• Conduct unit inspections to check keys are correct and function easily, telephones are connected and numbers are correct, units have ski lockers and combinations are correct, TV/Wi-Fi and Stereo are operational
• Map out shuttle arrivals to ensure adequate departure times and guest disbursement.
• Assist in cleaning
• Develop a good understanding of village layout and be able to give directions to all units in rental pool
• Be able to supply the guest with all information that they need to enjoy their stay
• Coordinate the day according to the shuttle schedule and bag pull schedule
• Daily check and maintenance of Central Reservations vehicles
• Assist shuttle drivers with guest and luggage pick up and drop off
• Ensure all luggage is correctly labelled and stored
• Ensure bellman room is kept clean, tidy and organized at all times
• Be able to troubleshoot issues guests have while in house (ie. TV, internet, hot tub etc)
• Physical labor - snow shoveling, lifting luggage etc.
• Assist Front Desk as required
• Understand how everything operates in a guest room
• Fulfill tasks in a time sensitive manner
• Follow all Health & Safety protocols/procedures, including chemical use
• Assist guests with all questions and requests
• Any other duties as required
• Any other request as made by a Central Reservations Manager

Job Specifications

• Must have full-privileged BC driving license (no L's, N's or P's) or be willing to obtain one with our guidance
• Must have had a driving license for 3 years with a clean driving record
• Full-time - working up to 40 hours per week
• Start date early November
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Starting wage - $19.50 per hour
• Staff accommodation may be available for approved applicants
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
