The award winning Trickle Creek Lodge is looking to fill the following position:
1. Part time Front Desk Attendant
2. Schedule
Mid week and weekend shifts
Shifts 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm or 1pm-9pm
Schedule may alter due to business levels and vacation request
The Front Desk Agent position will report directly to the Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate for the job will possess excellent customer service skills, be able to multitask, and will be an excellent oral communicator. Front desk experience is an asset. Computer skills are required, as well as a sound knowledge of math. All potential candidates will be able to work alone and as a team player, make independent decisions and promote a positive environment for our guests, and coworkers.
Job duties:
Take, cancel and change room reservations; Register arriving guests and assign rooms; Provide information on hotel facilities and services; Process group arrivals and departures; Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments; Investigate and resolve complaints; Exchange foreign currency; Balance cash out reports and related forms; Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages; Clerical duties (i.e. emailing, filing, copying); Provide general information about points of interest in the area; Follow emergency and safety procedures; Handle wake-up calls; Book and post packages, golf, ski and food vouchers; Provide customer service; Assist clients/guests with special needs; Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments.
