Job Summary | The College of New Caledonia is looking for qualified part-time instructors to deliver the CATHI Program - Community Ambassador in Tourism & Hospitality Industry. The successful candidate will instruct in one or more of the following areas: • Skills for Success • Management Skills for Supervisors • Work Readiness/Job Readiness • Tourism & Hospitality • Food Service • Indigenous Tourism • Customer Service • Event Planning • Marketing • Adventure Tourism • Financial Management • Hotel Services |
Skills & Qualifications | •A certificate, diploma or degree in a relevant field of study. •Teaching and work experience in relevant fields •A Provincial Instructor Diploma would be considered an asset •Knowledge and experience of Northern Indigenous communities would be an asset •Experience working with individuals facing multiple barriers You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues. You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities. Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question. |
