Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Table Games or Shift Manager, Table Games, this position is responsible for providing dealing services to customers while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
Deals card games
Maintains the security of the table and its float
Controls the table in the correct order of play; closes bets at the appropriate time
Refers disputes, irregularities or suspicious activities to the Manager
Verifies chip refills and credits
Tidies workstation and pit area
Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications
Minimum 1 year professional card dealing experiance
Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service
Serving It Right Certificate required
Must be available to work on flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
Other languages an asset
Work Environment Considerations
Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, dealing cards for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours.
