Job Summary

The Starbucks Supervisor role is a customer-facing position, focused on serving hot and cold quick-service food and drink items. As a part of the Starbucks team, you will be trained as per Starbucks training guidelines working in both solo and team environments. The Starbucks Supervisor role focuses on maintaining store operations and procedures in compliance with Starbucks Regulations.

Essential Job Functions

• All daily operations of the licensed Starbucks store
• Handling of cash

• Prepares Staff Schedules

• Maintaining quality store operations and inventory par levels

• Training and coaching new hires and current employees according to corporate standards

• Performing and supervising others in cleaning and operations tasks in accordance with the Duty Roster

• Assigns work to staff

• Providing premium customer service
• Maintain labour, food & expense cost control following the outlet budget

Supervisory Responsibility
This position provides direct supervision to the following positions: Starbucks Barista, Starbucks Team Lead.

Required Qualifications and Abilities

• Experience supervising staff in a coffee-related business preferred

• Excellent customer service skills
• Starbucks training preferred

• Knowledge of general health and safety procedures

• We provide training however we require a willingness to learn

• High energy and strong work ethic

• Strong Microsoft Office skills required

Working Conditions

Hours of Operation are weather dependent. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

$20.43/hour to $23.90/hour
