Job Description:

At Panorama Mountain Resort, we are committed to delivering pure mountain experiences to guests from around the world. We are looking for a passionate and dynamic leader to manage the front-of-house operations at Alto Restaurant & Bar and Fireside Café. As the leader of these outlets, you will ensure that every guest interaction is personalized and exceptional, consistently going above and beyond to create memorable experiences.

You will oversee the daily operations of Alto Restaurant & Bar, known for its Italian-inspired dining and curated wine list, as well as Fireside Café, celebrated for its gourmet coffees and pastries. Your passion for hospitality and commitment to excellence will inspire your team to consistently exceed expectations, ensuring an inviting and dynamic atmosphere.

In this role, you will actively seek ways to innovate, always thinking about how to improve service quality and guest satisfaction. You will lead by example, fostering a positive culture and instilling confidence in your team through expertise and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Inspire, recruit, and develop a dedicated team that embodies a culture of excellence and innovation. Focus on creating a cohesive and collaborative environment that emphasizes guest satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring that all processes align with resort standards and deliver exceptional experiences. Maintain top-tier service, consistency, and attention to detail in all areas of the restaurant.
  • Financial Acumen: Help to develop and manage budgets, track KPIs, and optimize financial performance. Leverage strong business insights to increase profitability, control costs, and drive revenue.
  • Culinary & Beverage Program Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to design and evolve a menu that emphasizes local ingredients, culinary trends, and our unique mountain setting. Elevate the wine and beverage program to reflect our premium offering and attract discerning guests.
  • Create Demand: Drive innovative marketing strategies and develop engaging events and promotions that generate excitement and attract both locals and visitors. Establish the restaurant as the go-to destination in the region for exceptional dining, vibrant ambiance, and memorable experiences.

Qualifications:

  • A hospitality enthusiast with a passion for guest service, food, wine, and the latest industry trends.
  • Five-years minimum experience in restaurant/F&B management, or similar leadership role in a high-end, dynamic dining environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to consistently go above and beyond.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and understand financial statements
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a knack for creating a vibrant, welcoming, and memorable atmosphere.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
