We are seeking a talented Marketing Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing unforgettable mountain experiences.
Position Overview:
Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is seeking an experienced and innovative Director of Accommodation who will drive excellence in guest satisfaction, team member engagement and owner success. This leader will offer strategic guidance, operational support, and hands on leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee multiple properties, ensuring lean, efficient, and high-quality operations.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Human Resources, and Accounting teams to resolve operational issues.
• Support corporate initiatives by contributing insights to revenue-driving and RevPAR strategies.
• Advise corporate leadership on financial planning, budgeting, and operational policies.
• Assess and enhance General Managers' performance through strategic planning and redirection.
• Ensure properties meet or exceed revenue and Net Operating Profit (NOP) targets.
• Maintain exceptional service and product quality by continuously evaluating and improving processes.
• Develop staff through goal setting, performance reviews, and mentorship.
• Foster a results-oriented culture across all properties.
• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with corporate teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends through continuous learning and professional development.
• Promote synergy among properties in sales, maintenance, and financial processes.
• Ensure General Managers effectively communicate company programs and procedures.
• Maintain high brand quality assurance (QA) results.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role within the hospitality industry.
• Proven success in driving organizational change and growth.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Deep expertise in hotel operations, including housekeeping, front desk, maintenance, revenue management, and sales.
• Experience mentoring and coaching teams with varying levels of expertise.
• Strong leadership and influence skills for engaging direct and indirect reports.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interface with senior management, investors, staff, and guests.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on operational expertise.
• Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods.
