River Rock Casino is currently looking for a self-motivated, friendly and customer-focused individual as F&B Host. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting guests in a prompt and courteous manner. He/she will also be seating guests while ensuring a balanced workload among servers. He/she will maintain an accurate waiting list and perform updates as needed and alert guests when a table has become available. Other duties include:

· Seating guests in the area of choice and distributing menus

· Advising guests of daily and weekly specials

· Explaining how various menu items or beverages are prepared if applicable

· Assisting with cleaning tables or counters, removing dishes and re-stocking when required

· Performing opening and closing duties as required

· Maintaining accurate records, waitlists and reservations

· Maximizing seating

· Performing cashier duties if applicable

· Ensuring table availability by communicating with bussing staff

· Liaising and communicating effectively with other operational departments

· Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations

· Performing other duties as assigned or directed

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:

· Minimum 1 year of recent Food & Beverage experience

· POS experience

· Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills

· Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

· Minimum 1 year employment with GCE

· Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication

· A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guests

· A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development
