POSITION: Coordinator, Digital Marketing
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
REPORTS TO: Manager, Digital Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Coordinator, Digital Marketing plays an important role Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE)'s digital marketing efforts through supporting the mobile app, paid advertising, and email marketing. The incumbent will work with all of CSE's brands with a strong focus on the Abbotsford Canucks and Vancouver Warriors.

This role will focus on:

  • Implementing email strategy, including managing email marketing campaigns, template designs, and calls-to action
  • Working closely with internal departments to maintain an all-inclusive email marketing production and editorial calendar
  • Providing regular reports with insight and analysis on email performance and growth strategy
  • Conducting rigorous quality assurance testing on emails prior to deployment
  • Ensuring email communication compliance with global anti-spam and privacy legislation
  • Monitoring the performance of digital marketing efforts and ensuring superior resonance and efficiency (ROI/ROAS)
  • Working with the Marketing team to develop marketing automation campaigns that serve targeted, timely, relevant customer journeys that drive revenue and build fandom
  • Liaising with Digital, Content, and Creative teams to help develop marketing collateral aligned to campaign goals and providing feedback to help optimize ad performance
  • Support Corporate Partnerships team by executing partner-related ad commitments
  • Assisting with the mobile membership program i.e., mobile ticketing, mobile payment, and mobile benefits
  • Managing game-day initiatives for the app with the use of CMS platforms as well as managing updates, styling, brand elements, and content on the app
  • Creating and scheduling push notifications for content categories such as Game Day Experiences, 50/50 Draws, Ticketing, etc.
  • Anticipating and constantly staying up to date with future marketing technology and trends

YOU HAVE:
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
  • At least one year of relevant digital marketing experience
  • Experience with digital analytics tools including Google Analytics, Omniture, etc. and ability to make data driven decisions
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to develop and present positioning recommendations
  • Creative and strategic thinker who isn't afraid to challenge the status quo and share ideas
  • Experience prioritizing the use of limited resources to optimize results and efficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize, and think quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Onsite role at our office in downtown Vancouver
