POSITION SUMMARY:

The Coordinator, Digital Marketing plays an important role Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE)'s digital marketing efforts through supporting the mobile app, paid advertising, and email marketing. The incumbent will work across all of CSE's brands.

This role will focus on:

  • Implementing digital strategy across email, app, and paid channels
  • Execute performance marketing efforts supporting ticket sales, member retention, corporate partnership, and brand, while providing guidance to best optimize ad performance
  • Develop, in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager, Brand and Integrated Marketing teams, lead generation strategy to maintain healthy stream of new fans into the marketing pipeline
  • Working closely with internal departments to maintain an all-inclusive digital marketing production and editorial calendar
  • Providing regular reports with insight and analysis on campaign performance
  • Ensuring email communication compliance with global anti-spam and privacy legislation
  • Monitoring the performance of digital marketing efforts and ensuring superior resonance and efficiency (ROI/ROAS)
  • Managing game-day initiatives for the app with the use of CMS platforms as well as managing updates, styling, brand elements, and content on the app
  • Creating and scheduling push notifications for content categories such as Game Day Experiences, 50/50 Draws, Ticketing, etc.
  • Anticipating and constantly staying up to date with future marketing technology and trends

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
  • Minimum one year of hands-on digital marketing experience, including ad buying through Meta Business Manager and Google Ads.
  • Experience with digital and analytics tools like Google Analytics, Tradable Bits, Salesforce, etc. and the ability to make data driven decisions
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to develop and present positioning recommendations
  • Creative and strategic thinker who isn't afraid to challenge the status quo and share ideas
  • Experience prioritizing the use of limited resources to optimize results and efficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Thrives under pressure, excels at prioritizing tasks, and quickly adapts to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by event and promotions schedule
