ABOUT THE ROLE

The Email Marketing Specialist will focus on the execution and optimization of FTC's email marketing campaigns, ensuring high-quality delivery, audience engagement, and alignment with our customer journey. This role requires advanced knowledge of Marketo and attention to detail in building, testing, and deploying campaigns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful email communications that support our business goals.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Email Marketing Execution

  • Build, test, and deploy email marketing campaigns using Marketo, ensuring accuracy in segmentation, personalization, and delivery.
  • Create and maintain email workflows and automations to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Marketo system notifications and campaign issues, escalating where necessary.
  • Support the implementation of A/B testing strategies to optimize email performance.
    Campaign Optimization
  • Analyze email campaign performance, including key metrics like open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve email engagement and campaign effectiveness.
  • Maintain and refine audience segmentation strategies to ensure relevant and targeted communications.
    Process Management & Documentation
  • Maintain and update documentation for email marketing processes, including SOPs, UTM parameters, and operational rules.
  • Manage issue tracking and follow-up to ensure consistent execution and operational alignment.
    Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to align email campaigns with overall business goals and initiatives.
  • Partner with content and design teams to ensure all emails are visually appealing and on-brand.
    Compliance & Best Practices
  • Ensure all email campaigns comply with relevant regulations, including CASL, GDPR, and CAN-SPAM.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in email marketing to maintain high standards in execution.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing, preferably with Marketo (certification a plus).
  • Proficiency in creating and deploying email campaigns with complex segmentation and personalization.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with campaign performance reporting.
  • Familiarity with email marketing compliance standards (CASL, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.).
  • Basic HTML and CSS skills for email formatting and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
