Reports To: Manager, Fan Experience

We are now inviting enthusiastic, passionate individuals to join our event staff team and be part of the excitement during Canucks games, Warriors games, and concerts at Rogers Arena. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Event Receptionist is the point of contact for fans contacting Fan Services during games and concerts at Rogers Arena. This is an hourly, part-time, events-based position. A typical shift includes:

  • Monitoring the Fan Services phone, email, and social media pages on event night for all questions, suggestions, and concerns
  • Ensuring all guest needs are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner
  • Taking initiative to create 'wow' moments for our clients through all communication channels
  • Reviewing event night details for timelines, prohibited items, camera policies, and any other important information related to the event
  • Advising and immediately following up with dispatch to address maintenance, housekeeping or guest services issues reported by fans
  • Suppling management with an activity report at the completion of each shift
  • Completing administrative tasks as assigned
  • Other duties as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required for events, with start times as early as 4:45pm
  • Minimum two years' customer service or call centre related experience with a strong emphasis on an exceptional level of customer service and satisfaction
  • Must have the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, guests, clients, and VIP's
  • Must be diplomatic, mature, people-oriented, and professional
  • Supervisory skills and experience are an asset
  • Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than October 2024
