Wage: $20.39/hour

POSITION SUMMARY:

As part of our Event Services team, Post-Event Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior perimeter areas of Rogers Arena prior to and following each event. Most shifts are graveyard shifts between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. This is an hourly, events-based position.

A typical shift includes:

  • Clean the facility and perimeter areas prior to and after an event has finished
  • Clean outside walkways, parking areas, washrooms, fixtures, etc.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to work graveyard shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays (i.e., 11pm - 7am)
  • Must be able to safely lift 35 lbs. (e., carrying full garbage bags to a deposit location)
  • Must be able to withstand repetitive bending, stretching, reaching, kneeling, and twisting
  • Must be able to work with various cleaning solutions with the appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Ability to learn WHMIS system and use of cleaning tools/equipment (WHMIS training is an asset) and ability to learn to use a radio
  • Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than October 2025
  • A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM)
  • Building Service Worker/Janitorial certification is an asset
  • Onsite role at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver
