Position: Specialist, Ticket Benefits & Communication
Department: Membership, Sales & BI
Reports to: VP, Ticket & Premium, Sales & Service

POSITION SUMMARY:

Working in collaboration within the Membership, Sales & Business Intelligence department, the Specialist, Ticket Benefits & Communication provides overall management and coordination to the Season Ticket Member & Premium Member benefit initiatives and programs. This role will execute communication plans for all Membership and Premium Member Communication as well as lead benefit and event execution for Membership, Sales, Premium Membership, Premium Sales and Warriors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the creation and implementation of the Member Benefits program, ensuring fulfillment of all benefits in a scheduled manner
  • Lead the creation and implementation of the Canucks Legacy Club program which is a program honoring our longest tenured members
  • Lead planning and execution of benefits and experiences for Canucks Premium Members, including but not limited to Taste of the Season, Annual Away Trip, Cocktails with the team, and Viewing Parties
  • Manage game day experiences as needed, including Season Ticket Member of the Game Program and game night benefit execution
  • Manage special events and work in conjunction with cross-departmental contacts on event coordination and execution
  • Manage communication process for ROFR Season Ticket Member benefit
  • Manage communication plan for all Member and Premium Member emails related to payment, package selection, renewal timeline, and any other pertinent information driven by the Ticketing Department for the Vancouver Canucks and Warriors
  • Assist with planning and executing Warriors Member Benefits
  • Assist with planning and executing sales team events such as Select-A-Seat, Minor Hockey Skates, and Sales Prospect Events
  • Oversee the communication and marketing of all Season Ticket Member benefits
  • Work closely with Special Events & Marketing to manage the benefits communication calendar
  • Track benefit submissions and fulfillment through Salesforce CRM & Archtics ticketing software
  • Perform market research to determine 'best practices'
  • Manage and resolve post-event issues and follow up with Members

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A degree or diploma in a related field such as business administration or hospitality management
  • At least two years of event management/planning experience in a project management focused role
  • Experience coordinating events, conferences, and/or promotions
  • A team player with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, highly professional, and a natural at delivering great customer service
  • Ability to adapt easily to changing priorities and schedules while working to meet deadlines
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking skills with superior attention to detail
  • Strong computer and technical skills, including MS Office and database management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings for special events and game nights, as required
  • Experience drafting and editing business proposals is an asset
