It has been a long 15 months since we have hosted fans at Rogers Arena, and we are excited to create memorable moments for our fans and guests once again. We are now inviting enthusiastic, passionate individuals to join our event staff team and be part of the excitement during Canucks games, Warriors games, and concerts at Rogers Arena. We can't wait to meet you!

POSITION SUMMARY:

Suite Attendants provide a superior level of service and hospitality to guests in our executive and hospitality suites. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position.

A typical shift includes:

  • Fully responsible for an assignment of Executive and Hospitality Suites
  • Taking and delivering food orders and providing premium food and beverage service
  • Communicating a thorough knowledge of menu items, food presentation, and beverage selection
  • Building strong relationships with returning guests and Suite owners in a high-touch environment
  • Working collaboratively as a member of a larger team across the organization and continuously interacting in a positive and professional manner
  • Other duties as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a start time of approximately 4:00pm
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
  • Completion of a Serving it Right certificate
  • At least two years of serving experience in a fine dining environment
  • Have an incredible ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume environment while maintaining a first-in-class hospitality and food and beverage experience
  • Strong communication and listening skills and the ability to communicate with guests and respond to inquiries
  • Able to maintain a calm, friendly, and professional demeanor
  • Be a solutions provider, committed to continuous improvement ideas and initiatives
  • Display a neat, tidy, and professional presentation to meet a high level of appearance and service standards
  • Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than August 2022
