Position: Team Lead, Ticket Sales - Vancouver Warriors
Department: Membership, Sales & Business Intelligence
Reports to: Director, Ticket & Premium, Sales & Service

Position Summary:

The Team Lead, Ticket Sales is responsible for leading the day-to-day sales and service operations for the Vancouver Warriors of the National Lacrosse League. This individual will be passionate about driving the Warriors business forward and will be responsible for key initiatives such as creating and leading Group Sales initiatives, Season Ticket and Mini Plan processes, and strategies to help fill Rogers Arena for Lacrosse games. Building relationships with key stakeholders will be important for the teams success.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
(Other duties may be assigned as required)

  • Provide leadership to Account Executives and Inside Sales Reps
  • Lead weekly sales meetings with the team to discuss department priorities and upcoming initiatives that move the business forward
  • Collaborate with Manager, Ticket Sales & Team Lead, Ticket Sales for Vancouver Canucks to proactively coach cross-selling between properties and keeping all products top of mind
  • Assist CRM Administrator in developing and assigning sales campaigns throughout the membership and group sales cycles
  • Proactively seek new revenue streams for the Vancouver Warriors Lacrosse Team
  • Work closely with Director, Ticket & Premium, Sales & Service to help develop pricing and sales strategies to help drive the business
  • Provide weekly revenue & team updates to the VP, Business Operations for Vancouver Warriors
  • Contribute to the overall strategies for annual business planning within the Sales department
  • Work closely with all members of the sales team to develop and implement sales and service excellence initiatives

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a high energy sales and service environment as a high performer
  • Demonstrated experience developing highly effective sales strategies without losing focus on service
  • Action-oriented individual possessing a high degree of initiative and known to have the knack for getting things done
  • Committed to a vision of service that will thrill fans and provide an ultimate fan experience
  • Exceptional customer service acumen and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build, motivate, and lead teams
  • Superior conflict resolution skills, with the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management, clientele, suppliers, and partners
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to handle conflicting deadlines and prioritize
  • Extensive computer knowledge, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Archtics and Ticketmaster technology strongly preferred
