Ski Valet Manager

Nestled at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, just two hours north of Downtown Vancouver, Fairmont Chateau Whistler defines mountain luxury. Ski Valet Manager

Our Guest Services Team is looking for a Ski Valet Manager to provide service excellence to our guests through the winter season. Lead, motivate and develop the Ski Valet team to maintain our reputation as the ski-in, ski-out resort of choice in Whistler - giving all of our guests a luxury winter sports experience.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $62,000 per annum dependent on experience

This is a seasonal position throughout our winter season, starting in November and end in May.

Job Duties Include:

• Lead and drive forward our Ski Valet department, providing the highest quality Ski Valet experience to all guests.
• Monitor and assist in achieving departmental productivity objectives through accurate scheduling and daily labour reviewing, as well as payroll.
• Handle and resolve customer requests & complaints, ensuring service excellence for all guests.
• Assist in the training and continual development of Ski Valet team members.
• Participate in leadership team meetings as well as to co-ordinate ski valet monthly meetings.

• Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
• Capable of performing all duties included in the operation of the ski valet area.
• Must be sincerely friendly, personable and self-confidant.
• Must be empathetic to the guests as well as employee needs and concerns.
• Guest Services experience is an asset, preferably in a luxury setting.
