An Assistant Restaurant General Manager supports the General Manager in daily operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and overseeing inventory and financial aspects of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities: Staff Management: Recruiting, hiring, training, and scheduling employees. Supervising and motivating staff to ensure high performance and positive work environment. Addressing employee concerns and issues. Operational Management: Overseeing daily operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house areas. Ensuring compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations. Managing inventory and ordering supplies. Assisting with budgeting and financial record-keeping. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service and addressing guest complaints. Ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. Other duties: Assisting with marketing and promotional activities. Participating in department meetings and communicating effectively. Performing all duties of restaurant employees as necessary.
