Join our growing ServiceNow Platform team as a Senior ServiceNow Analyst reporting to the ServiceNow Platform Lead. In this role, your primary focus will be on managing and optimizing the ITOM suite, including Discovery, MID Server infrastructure, and Event Management. You’ll also contribute to broader platform administration tasks and support core ITSM processes as needed. Collaborating with IT, infrastructure, and security teams, you’ll play a critical role in improving visibility, automation, and operational health across our technology landscape. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your ServiceNow skills within a dynamic team of administrators and developers, making a significant impact on NSPI’s enterprise digital strategy.


Key elements of this role include:

  • Administer and maintain ServiceNow ITOM capabilities, with a focus on Discovery, MID Server deployment and tuning, and Event Management.
  • Collaborate with network, server, and application teams to ensure accurate and complete service mapping and infrastructure visibility.
  • Monitor and optimize MID Server performance, availability, and upgrades.
  • Support the configuration and tuning of Event Management rules, alert correlation, and operational dashboards.
  • Help troubleshoot issues across the platform, including performance concerns and integration errors.
  • Document processes, configurations, and updates to maintain clear and current knowledge across the team.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow releases and ITOM best practices, recommending platform improvements and drive automation opportunities where appropriate.

These skills will make you successful:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and networking concepts (servers, databases, firewalls, load balancers, etc.).
  • At least 3 years of experience in ServiceNow administration or a technical operations/infrastructure support role.
  • In-depth knowledge and work experience with CMDB and CI relationship mapping
  • Solid troubleshooting skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA or CIS-Discovery.
  • Exposure to JavaScript and experience building workflows or automation in ServiceNow.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Event Management, and MID Server administration.
  • ITIL 4 or v3.2011 foundation certification
