Housekeeping Associate

Position Summary: We are recruiting a friendly, self-motivated individual to join our housekeeping team. This position is pivotal to maintaining and enhancing the warm, clean and welcoming environment found in our resident, community spaces. As part of the housekeeping team, you would be responsible for maintaining Resident Rooms and common areas, including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, mopping, washroom cleaning and bed making
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all designated areas are thoroughly cleaned.
- Ensure all equipment is used and stored as necessary.
- Ensure regular checks of equipment and report any deficiencies.
- Check equipment is safe and working.
- Assist in linen systems.
- Carry out extra spring/deep cleaning tasks as the need arises.
- Use of site washing machine for internal laundry where appropriate.
- Follow the Health and Safety Regulations and Fire Policy.
- Report hazards to Management.
- Maintain component hygiene standards.
- Follow company or component policy in taking care of customer comments or complaints.
- Ensure that clothing, including footwear and headgear, and personal hygiene is of the highest standards at all times.
- Participate in company training to improve your standard of performance.
- Suggest areas of improvement and take any corrective action, as required.
- Carry out any other reasonable instructions of Aramark Management.

Qualifications
- Considerable experience in a similar role or custodial or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including, days, weekends, evenings and holidays
- Customer service-oriented mindset to provide our guests exceptional satisfaction
- Ability to perform lifting and physical tasks as required
- Flexible approach to hours and duties, with excellent time management to proritize tasks efficiently
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
