We are currently seeking an excellent team player to join our growing business in eastern Ontario as a Maintenance/ Receiver. This role will join the team at Shorelines Casino Belleville. Under the general direction of the Manager, Facilities, this position will be responsible for the assisting of site maintenance of the entire property (both interior and exterior), as well as assisting with receiving all goods that enter the property while ensuring appropriate documentation accompanies the delivery. This individual will have maintenance knowledge, trouble shooting ability and skills with painting and tool usage. They will contribute to assisting in maintaining a clean and organized food storeroom and receiving area including all refrigerators, freezers and the dry storeroom. Must be collaborative, excel at multi-tasking and display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Above all else, must be aligned with, and promote, Shorelines Casinos culture and philosophy of creating a great, memorable experience for our guests and colleagues.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
• Exceeds guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service

• Assists with signing and dating invoices and makes sure all items are received
• Painting and wall-patching on a regular basis
• Conduct duties in a pro-active manner; seeking out and / or willingly accepting assignments, responsibilities and challenges
• Receive incoming shipments and distributes all materials and product received
• Assists with reconciling shipping discrepancies with vendor, log discrepancies and delivery concerns for follow up
• Aids with scheduling outgoing courier deliveries and shipments
• Helps monitor inventories and purchasing, and maintain accurate log books
• Helps maintain interior of property, this includes re-felting tables, changing expired lamps, etc.
• Assists with maintaining exterior property, this includes exterior morning cleanup of debris, garbage cans, ashtrays, etc.
• Aids with inspecting facility for safety hazards; reports or repairs and / or maintains as necessary
• Completes all work orders as assigned
• Maintains a high level of professionalism while providing exceptional guest service at all points of contact
• Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
• Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, management, employees, vendors, sponsors, community organizers and regulators
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Secondary School Diploma preferred
• 1 year experience of general building maintenance an asset
• 1 year experience of working in a storeroom/ receiving environment an asset

• Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
• A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development
• Proficient Computer knowledge with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Ability to be accurate and pay close attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Passion for providing a Great Experience and Memory to all guests, both external and internal
• Experience with electrical pallet jack and other loading equipment an asset
