Under the general direction of the Gaming Manager, Table Games, this position is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of table games operations in the Salon/Salon Premium area while establishing and contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Provides input on performance evaluations and assists with the implementation all new table games initiatives. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Accountabilities

  • Monitors Dealers in a n assigned Salon/Salon Premium area; area; maintains game integrity; monitors game limits and cash/value transactions
  • Ensures all players rating is done in precise manner
  • Provides input for team member performance objectives and e valuations
  • Participates in the implementation of table games strategic plans
  • Requests fill/credit issuance as required
  • Verifies cash/value transactions pertaining to floats, fills, credits and tips
  • Responds to, resolves or escalates issues
  • Reports irregularities and suspicious activities
  • Assists in allotting player seating and waiting lists
  • Maintains a tidy work area
  • Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership and team members
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed
  • Manages other initiatives as required

Education and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma; Post Secondary education or a suitable combination of education and experience an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming management
  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
  • Computer literacy in MS Office

Work Environment Considerations

  • Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, non-traditional work hours
