The City of Cambridge is currently accepting resume for Casual Arena Attendants working within our Infrastructure Services Department, Operations Division the following duties will apply:
Perform facility maintenance including bathrooms, change rooms, meeting rooms, lobby and common areas
Performs minor repairs as required
Set up and take down for various activities held in the recreation facilities
Answer and act on public enquiries and complaints, as required
Completes task lists as assigned by a Supervisor or designate
Other duties as assigned in accordance with department objectives
Please note: applicants must be 15 years of age or older and will require to supply and wear CSA approved safety boots (green patch).
Location of work is to be determined.
Must be a self-starter who demonstrates initiative in the performance of the general duties.
The ability to exercise courtesy and tact in dealing with user groups and the general public are required at all times with a desire for the pursuit of excellence of service.
Previous experience in facility maintenance and customer service.
Able to understand and comprehend all policies and procedures as they relate to the work being performed.
Must be available to work weeknights, holidays when required and weekend shifts.
Must have own CSA approved safety footwear
Must have reliable transportation
The hourly rate of pay $17.80. Hours of work and shifts will vary.
These positions are casual with no minimum hours guaranteed.
Hours of work will be scheduled by the supervisor, or designate and will include evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
